An optional companion to therapy

A space to express
yourself, your way.

A check-in, a few words, or a guided prompt can help you notice what matters and bring it into therapy.

An illustrative scene of reflection and a supportive conversation with journals
A space for the things that matter to you.

Personal Reflection Journal

A little room to be yourself.

An optional part of therapy

An interactive personal reflection tool that may be offered to clients as a companion to therapy. It can help you notice feelings, explore thoughts and relationships, identify what supports you, and prepare for a session.

A few taps or a short sentence can be enough. You can choose a prompt, skip a question, write freely, or add an image, audio clip, or video that helps you express your experience.

If we decide together that this tool could support your goals, I can share access during the course of therapy. Use is entirely optional and guided by your preferences, comfort, and needs.

Choose what feels manageable

Three ways to begin.

01 · Notice

A quick check-in

Choose a feeling, notice your energy, and identify something that might help. “Mixed,” “numb,” and “not sure” are welcome answers.

02 · Explore

A guided reflection

Choose from eight prompts covering emotions, thoughts, energy, sensory needs, values, boundaries, and preparing for therapy. Every question is optional.

03 · Carry forward

Something to discuss

Bookmark a reflection for your next session or download its text. You decide what to bring into the conversation; a bookmark does not share an entry.

Alongside therapy

Your reflections.
Your pace.

When appropriate and desired by you, the tool can offer a way to gather thoughts between sessions and remember what you want to explore. It does not replace therapy or individualized care, and choosing not to use it does not affect your access to therapy.

You can discuss a reflection during a session or agree with your therapist on an appropriate secure sharing method. Entries are not automatically sent to Amy, and this tool is not monitored.

Know how saving works.

Session-only by default

Entries stay in the open browser session and disappear when the page closes or reloads. There is no journal-content upload to an application server or automatic sharing with a therapist.

Optional encrypted device saving

You can enable browser-based saving with your own passphrase. There is no cloud sync, backup, or passphrase reset. Clearing browser data can erase saved entries, and losing the passphrase can make them unrecoverable.

Media & downloads

An entry can include up to three supported image, audio, or video files, up to 5 MB each. Reflection downloads contain text only and are unencrypted, so store them somewhere you trust.

Discuss privacy before use

Before I share the tool, we will review its purpose, privacy considerations, and whether it is a good fit for you. It is not a secure clinical intake portal. Your device, browser extensions, and downloaded files can affect privacy.

When you need support now

This tool does not alert a therapist or provide emergency support. In the U.S., call or text 988 for crisis support. For immediate danger, call 911 or visit the nearest emergency department.
