Psychedelic-assisted
psychotherapy
A developing area of treatment—and a place for careful preparation, reflection, and integration.

Understanding this work
Psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy combines psychotherapy with psychedelic experiences in appropriately regulated, clinically supervised contexts. Research explores how changes in perception, emotional processing, and brain connectivity may interact with therapy.
My practice describes preparation, integration, and therapeutic support. Preparation can include discussing intentions and expectations; integration can involve exploring meaning and connecting reflections with daily life.

Experiences and outcomes vary. Claims about neuroplasticity, the default mode network, or access to memories do not establish that a treatment is suitable or beneficial for every person.
